Alicia earned her bachelor’s of science from Florida Memorial University in the field of Education
Varying Exceptionalities while working part-time as a licensed mortgage broker. Alicia is committed to the Miami-Dade community. She enjoys working with people as evidenced by her work experience with the Juvenile Justice Center, Dade County Public Schools, City of Miami Police Department, and the United States Postal Service.
While enjoying the six years that she spent in the classroom as an
Educator, Alicia re-discovered her passion for Real Estate. She decided to take advantage of the knowledge and experience that she gained along the way to not only become an agent but a broker. Alicia says the rest is history. In 2004, she opened the doors to The Real Estate Experts of South Florida, where she has spent the past seventeen years helping families realize what they call the American Dream of Homeownership.
Alicia contends she gets an opportunity every day to make an impact in
the lives of others. It is her belief that life is not about what you get, but what you give. She continues to give back to local communities through educational workshops on financial literacy, generational wealth, pre
and post home-buyers education, foreclosure prevention, and sharing the road map to becoming a homeowner to many who thought homeownership was beyond their reach.
Alicia is married to Mangquel Hayes. She enjoys spending her spare time with their blended family of 8 children and 7 grandchildren.
